Questions about our bag design service
A. Yes, absolutely we are keen to help you explain your idea and we can tell you how we can bring it to life.
A. If you can describe the purpose of the bag we can design it for you – and we have a really helpful briefing document we can send you to help you explain your ideas.
A. There are a lot of things you need to think about – if you read this it might help you.
A. The average factory only wants to make a minimum of 1000 units. But some will make as little as 200 ( but at a higher unit cost). Give us a call to discuss this.
A. This varies a lot from three months to nine months, we can give you more accurate estimates when we have had a discussion. You can book a free of charge consultation here.
A. Yes we source the right factory for your kind of products – but we only do this as part of our design and development service.
A. It depends on your business and brand objectives. We can arrange manufacture any where in the world but of course Asia is excellent for technical products and some places in Europe are perfect for leather goods. It all depends on the product you want to make.
A. When we design for clients the client automatically owns the Intellectual property to the final design we create for them. We register all designs so you have a digital paper trail in case you need to defend your designs.
A. Yes, we would need to see the design pictures you have and then we can tell you the process and likely costs to do this for you. Send us a message here to tell us more.

A. First tell us what you need us to do and we can provide a written quote in advance. We have a ready-made short document we can send you that will help you brief us.
A. Yes, We can speak via WhatsApp, Skype, or messenger. Just email us with a time to have a chat and we will be pleased to chat – free of charge – and listen to your objectives and see if we can help you.
A. Yes! Our background is in fact fashion clothing before we ever designed bags. None the less our specialism is designing ‘stylish products that work’ – so if you want a bag that is in some way functional, we are right for you – but if you only want a simple fashion bag you probably don’t need us.
A. If your handbag needs to have strong functional as well as styling ideas then we can help you – but if you just want a fashion handbag there are plenty of handbag designers who can help you.
“I just want to get a sample made – I have a perfect design already and do not need any design work or specification for production done.”
A. If you don’t need any design work you would be better off going direct to a factory – you would not need our design expertise. If you have a design but you do not have a technical specification – yes we can help you.
A. You can pay by direct bank transfer, PayPal or sometimes by credit card over the phone.
A. We speak and work in English. We know a little Mandarin and German and French but suggest we communicate in English.
A. We are very experienced at working with international clients – it’s normal. We communicate by Skype, WhatsApp and any other method you like.
A. We comply with UK and E.U. Law. Technically the designer owns the copyright to what is created. We offer to assign the design rights to you when you pay your fees. We expect you to own the final designs we create for you.
A. We need to know what kind of design, the target market, the materials you’d like, the timescale etc before we can answer this. Give us a call and we will answer your question, or get a quick bag design cost estimate here.
A. Yes, but we generally only make samples where the factory will also get the production order subject to quality and price.
A. We are not a factory. We simply choose the best factories to work on your product. We know of some good factories in the UK but almost any kind of more complex product has to be made off shore.
A. We charge straightforward fees for each of the stages of work we do. We do not charge a percentage of sales or any ongoing fees.
We do not charge a percentage on top of production costs – the production costs quoted will be exactly what the factory charges.
If you would prefer to pay a percentage service fee let us know – otherwise we are happy to simply be paid fees for our services. Simple!

A. YES. We need to know that what we are signing is not in conflict with any other clients projects, so we need to learn broadly what the product is before we can sign an NDA. This can be done in a phone call without you disclosing and confidential information. We have a NDA we usually use, that we can offer you.
“I have an idea that I want to keep secret but I want to know how much it will cost to ask you to create to for me. How do I get an idea of costs and how you do things before I hire you?”
A. We suggest starting with a general phone call to +44 (0) 1531 579188 when we can discuss your objectives ‘in the round’ and tell you how we will go about your project. We can give you a rough idea of costs – subject to your final briefing to help you do your budgeting.

A. Yes, you are welcome to use a Credit card. We would first agree a contract with you which will include all the details of what we are doing and how it will be done – then we can send you an invoice and you can pay by credit card when you get it.
